Maths – to recognise and recreate a simple pattern.
- Watch the Whiterose Hub maths video input. You may wish to pause at some points to discuss the content with your child.
- To begin we are continuing our work on pattern and will be focus on movement patterns. Can you ask an adult or a sibling to follow a pattern that you make up? Make sure it is easy for them to remember: for example head, head, shoulder, shoulder, repeat.
- Once you have had a few turns at being the leader, switch with your partner. It is not your turn to follow their pattern and then recreate it.
