Welcome to the Year 5 class page. Below you will see a suggested remote learning timetable links to support you with this work. Each link on the grid is in red font. Simply click on the red font and it will take you straight to the resources within our online classroom in the tabs below. I have also included some extra activities on the bottom tabs, labelled with different subjects.

Year 5 expectations for writing: *I can consistently use a neat, joined handwriting style. *I can write sentences that make sense. *I can use capital letters and full stops accurately, including proper nouns. *I can use other punctuation such as: -commas or brackets for extra information -inverted commas for speech -questions marks for questions -exclamation marks for statements -colons (state that something is following) and semi-colons (join two independent clauses) *Start to use a wider range of linking words/phrases between sentences and paragraphs to build cohesion. *I can proofread my own work and make necessary corrections with a purple pen. |
