Welcome to Eden

At Beechcroft St Paul's, Eden offers high-quality early years provision for children from the age of 2 years and 9 months. This means we can welcome your child from the term in which they turn three. Government funding is available from the term after their third birthday, helping to make our provision accessible to all families.

Rooted in our vision, Soaring With Compassion, our Foundation Stage is a place where children begin their learning journey in an environment that nurtures both the heart and the mind. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging, kindness, and curiosity from the very start.

Our aim is to provide a stimulating, caring, and relaxed environment where every child feels safe, valued, and nurtured. We design activities that reflect each child’s interests and learning styles, helping them to make sense of the world around them in a way that is meaningful and joyful.

We place a particular focus on developing children’s ability to communicate effectively—improving their understanding and use of language, building social skills to interact positively with others, encouraging independence, and supporting the development of physical and self-care skills. We believe that once these foundations of learning are embedded, other areas of development can flourish.

Eden, located next to the Reception class, is run by a professional and highly qualified team. We offer both morning and afternoon sessions, with the option for children to attend all day and stay for lunch.

All activities are carefully planned to stimulate, challenge, and support progress across the seven areas of learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
