Background Slideshow

Welcome to Beechcroft St Paul's CE Primary School.

Dear Parent/Carer

It gives me great pleasure to write to you as your new Headteacher. My first impressions of our school were overwhelmingly positive and I was honoured and delighted to be chosen for the role. Subsequent visits have only confirmed my initial impressions of a dedicated team of professionals caring for a wonderful group of children. During each visit I am always greeted by a sea of inquisitive smiley faces, who are naturally so proud of their school.

Beechcroft has a strong tradition of Christian values and a community that thrives upon mutual respect and values, tolerance and diversity. This is an exciting time to be part of the school as we focus upon our refreshed values of: hope, respect and wisdom.

  • Hope, because we all aim for the very best for our children’s futures.
  • Respect, because this is the basis of all successful relationships.
  • Wisdom to be patient and to make the best decisions possible.

These values, together with our new school motto, based upon Philippians 2: 1 - 4: With compassion for each other, our ambition will soar, will support the children throughout their lives.

We are part of a school that strongly believes in providing children with exiting, creative and meaningful learning experiences that enable the children to build their enthusiasm for learning and our values will strongly underpin what and how we teacher our children.

From my previous experience as a Headteacher I understand that working in partnership with parents/carers is vital for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. I consider it important that you have a voice and that we are approachable and we allocate time to listen to your views. In the near future we will be inviting you to an informal coffee morning. You will see me outside school, please do introduce yourselves as I am looking forward to meeting you in the coming weeks.

Yours faithfully

Mrs Cath Crossley
